Kim Soo Hyun is already eyeing his next project following his recent success in the hit Kdrama Queen of Tears. The acclaimed actor, whose return to the small screen after a three-year hiatus was celebrated in Queen of Tears, is reportedly in discussions to headline a new series titled Knock Off.

Directed by Park Hyun Suk, known for his work on the award-winning series Stranger 2, Knock Off is said to be a black comedy series. While specific details about the plot and broadcast platform remain undisclosed, Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Goldmedalist, has confirmed that the actor is actively considering the offer to star in the series.

Kim Soo Hyun's recent role in Queen of Tears, alongside Kim Ji Won, garnered high viewership ratings and reaffirmed his status as one of South Korea's most popular actors. His previous works, including ‘My Love from the Star’ and ‘It's Okay to Not Be Okay’, have also been highly acclaimed, solidifying his position in the industry.


‘Knock Off’ is produced by Arc Media and SLL, known for their successful productions such as ‘Big Bet’ and ‘The King's Affection’. The series is expected to be an OTT premiere, with further details about the broadcasting channels and streaming platforms yet to be announced.

Kim Soo Hyun's popularity extends beyond South Korea, as evidenced by the international success of Queen of Tears, which has been well-received by viewers on Netflix.
