Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan's ex-wife, dropped a special post for him after he shocked everyone on by introducing his new girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. The celebrated filmmaker shared a collection of adorable photos of the actor with their son Azad from their 16 years of marriage on her social media handle. 

Kiran Rao captioned the post, "HBD to the VVVIP in our lives! Thank you for the hugs and the laughs and for always having our backs. We love you! xx k #AamirKhan." The first picture in the carousel was Aamir posed for the camera with his one of a kind nose pin. Next, we caught a picture of Aamir and Kiran holding their kid, Azad. She also shared some sweet photos of the birthday boy hanging out with his ex-wife and their son

Kiran Rao's birthday post for Aamir Khan won several hearts on social media. One of the users wrote, "Wishing a very Happy Birthday to Aamir Khan! Your films touch hearts, and your social work inspires change. Also, you & Kiran Rao are truly the best team—both in life and cinema!" Another user commented, "HBD Amir Sir. Kiran maam you're such a pure soul. Love you maam. Loved to see you talking in bengali where many bengali actress don't like to do so. Much respect from a lady from Kolkata."

Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan married in 2005 but decided to split up amicably in 2021. They, however, co-parent their son Azad. The actor had previously been married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002, with whom he had two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. 

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan spoke casually with the media in Mumbai on Thursday, introducing his new partner, Gauri Spratt. He joyfully confirmed dating Gauri and said, "She is from Bangalore, and we knew each other for 25 years. But we connected a year-and-half ago. She happened to be in Mumbai and we met accidentally, we kept in touch, and then it all happened organically."
