The film starred Devika Rani as the princess, Himansu Rai played the role of the prince, Sudha Rani portrayed as Devika Rani’s companion, Dewan Sharar as the Maharaja, Abraham Sofaer played the role of a Holy Man and Kander as the beggar. It also featured Anil Chakrabarti and Amal Banerji in supporting roles. The movie has been directed by John Hunt and produced by the lead actor Himanshu Rai himself. The story was written by Dewan Sharar.
