One member, Cocona, took things to another level by shaving her head for the music video. It wasn’t a spontaneous decision, though. Cocona had been contemplating the bold move for a while and felt that the concept of this comeback was the perfect opportunity to go for it. And let’s be honest—she pulled it off flawlessly. With her new look, Cocona radiates confidence, proving that beauty isn’t about conforming to traditional standards; it’s about owning your unique style. Fans and critics alike have praised her decision, saying it adds an extra layer of swagger to her already powerful presence.

SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT
XG’s music is just as remarkable as its visuals. In July 2024, they dropped the track SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT, a dance anthem with a flirty, cheeky vibe. The song captures the essence of a woman’s intuition, which XG has mastered in their music and performance. The lyrics—“I figured you out, boy…”—speak to the strength and clarity that comes with listening to one’s gut feeling, especially regarding relationships.
The choreography for SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT is equally impressive, blending sleek, seductive moves with precise formations that show off XG’s stellar dance skills. The girls truly bring the track to life, killing it on stage and in their music videos with charisma and style. The upbeat tempo and catchy rhythm make it a song you can’t help but dance to, but it’s the message that resonates. XG knows what’s up—they don’t just talk the talk; they walk the walk.

Their latest release, Howling, is a fitting continuation of the group’s ascent. With bold lyrics like “Can’t break out, no escape route, there’s nowhere to hide / It’s close to midnight and the night skies come haunting down,” Howling is a raw, high-energy anthem that matches the group’s edgy persona. It’s not just a song—it’s a statement. The track is about resilience, strength and the wild energy that comes with embracing one’s true self.
The concept behind Howling is as powerful as the lyrics themselves. XG has always been about blending beauty with power, and this track takes it to the next level. The choreography is intense, full of attitude and intensity that perfectly matches the fierce message of the song.
