In an unexpected development, Korean singer Park Bo Ram tragically passed away on April 12th at the age of 30. The K-Pop community and fans alike are reeling from the news of her untimely demise. Renowned for her acclaimed original soundtracks in K-dramas and her memorable stint on SuperStar K2, Park Bo Ram allegedly breathed her last yesterday morning. Her agency, XANADU, has confirmed her passing, though the exact cause remains undisclosed.
"This is XANADU Entertainment. We are here to share sorrowful and heartbreaking news. Park Bo Ram suddenly passed away late at night on April 11. All of the artists and executives at XANADU Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased with great sadness. It is even more heartbreaking that we have to tell you this sudden news to all of the fans who support Park Bo Ram. The funeral will be held after consulting with the bereaved’s family. Once again, we send our deepest condolences to the deceased so she may rest in peace," her agency said. Park Bo Ram was poised to mark a decade in the music industry this year and had been gearing up to unveil new music to commemorate the occasion.

Recognised for her emotive voice and enduring tracks such as 'Hyehwadong (Or Ssangmundong)' from Reply 1988 and 'Please Say Something, Even Though It Is a Lie' from W - Two Worlds, Park Bo Ram rose to prominence following her participation in the Mnet audition program 'SuperStar K2' back in 2010, captivating viewers with her remarkable vocal talents.
Subsequently, she made her solo debut in 2014 with the track 'Beautiful.' Her discography includes hits like 'Celepretty,' 'Sorry,' 'Pretty Bae,' and 'Dynamic Love,' among others. Additionally, she engaged in collaborations with artists like Eric Nam and rapper Lil Boi. In February, she unveiled her track 'I Hope' with Huh Gak.
Bo Ram was reportedly in good health, and her anticipated comeback brought excitement to her fans. Just earlier this month, she dropped the song 'I Miss You' and was gearing up to unveil her 10th anniversary album this summer.
