Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s rom-com entertainer ‘Kushi’ witnessed a fantastic opening weekend. The film hit theatres on September 1 and is helmed by Shiva Nirvana. However, the film saw a major drop on Monday, and since then the film’s performance has been severely affected, determining the longevity of its theatrical run at the box office.

‘Kushi’ saw a major drop on Monday and was able to mint around Rs 4 Crore in India. The film then earned Rs 3 Crore on Day 4. However, on Day 5, it minted only Rs 2 Crore, taking the total domestic box office collection to be around Rs 39.40 Crore.

The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and also features Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Ponvannan, Murali Sharma, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Lakshmi in pivotal roles. It also marks the second collaboration between Samanth Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda.

The makers of the film announced that 'Kushi' has managed to collect Rs 73 Crore in just three days worldwide, and is now aiming to enter Rs 100 Crore at the box office. The music score of the film is given by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
