Kushi Box Office Collection Day 3: Vijay Deverakonda-Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Twisted Love Story Witnesses Major Jump

Kushi Box Office Collection Day 3: Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu led ‘Kushi’ hit theatres on September 1. The film is directed by Shiva Nirvana, and marks the second collaboration of the lead actors after ‘Mahanati.’ ‘Kushi’ witnessed a bumper opening on Friday, followed by a slight drop on Day 2 at the box office. However, the film was able to revive itself on Sunday and raked a hefty number.

‘Kushi’ took a good start at the box office with a collection of Rs 16 Crore. However, on Day 2, the film saw a drop and collected only Rs 9 Crore at the ticket window. Now, on Day 3, ‘Kushi’ managed to revive itself and raked Rs 11 Crore at the box office, taking the total domestic collection of the film to be around Rs 36.15 Crore.

The film revolves around a couple coming from different religious preferences yet co-existing in peace. ‘Kusho’ also addresses issues of how society puts pressure on newly-married couples to have a baby, right after getting married. It also showcases the other side of marriage, with couples taking the easy way out after small breakouts in a relationship.

The cinematography is done by Murali, with Prawin Pudi as the editor of the film. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, whereas the music score is given by Hesham Abdul.
