L2 Empuraan Box Office Update: The eagerly awaited L2: Empuraan, directed and starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, has broken box office records and is now the biggest Indian movie opening of 2025.

L2 Empuraan Box Office Report

L2 Empuraan made an incredible Rs 165 crore globally in its first weekend breaking the previous record of Rs 160 crore set by Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. The Malayalam movie has had incredible success globally, and foreign markets have contributed significantly to its box office receipts.

L2 Empuraan made Rs 18 crore in the US alone, demonstrating the enormous level of interest in this follow-up to the 2019 smash Lucifer. The Malayalam movie also stars Mohanlal in the lead role.

L2 Empuraan continues to be a top choice for moviegoers amid other choices, including Sikandar, Chhaava, Veera Dheera Sooran, Robinhood and others because of its intense action scenes, compelling plot and outstanding performers. The director, Prithviraj Sukumaran's vision as a filmmaker is being praised by both reviewers and fans as the Malayalam moie solidifies its status as a 2025 cinematic extravaganza.

Chhaava Box Office Report

The first Bollywood blockbuster of 2025, Chhaava is produced by Maddock Films. The historical drama, which stars Vicky Kaushal, tells the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who engaged in combat with Aurangzeb, the Mughal emperor. Chhaava, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna, has been getting better every weekend.

Chhaava made Rs 593.45 crore during its seven-week theatrical run. Laxman Utekar's directorial had a gross collection of Rs 705.75 crore, as per sacnilk. These numbers feel strong amid Sikandar and L2 Empuraan's dominance at the box office.
