The much-anticipated first-look poster of Mohanlal from L2: Empuraan has finally been unveiled, coinciding with the star’s 64th birthday. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, this film is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, which also saw tremendous success under Sukumaran’s direction.
In the first-look poster, Mohanlal exudes swag and charm as Khureshi Abraam, also known as Stephen Nedumpally. Dressed in an all-black ensemble, he sports a black T-shirt, leather jacket, and matching trousers. The actor completes his intense look with a salt-and-pepper hairstyle, beard, and orange-tinted sunglasses. As he strides confidently amidst a group of bodyguards armed with guns, Mohanlal’s character appears ready for action, despite carrying no weapons himself.
The poster, shared by Prithviraj and Mohanlal on social media in five languages—Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi—has generated significant excitement among fans. Social media is abuzz with enthusiastic reactions, with comments such as "Firee," "Devil is Coming," and "Happy birthday sir, can't wait for #L2E #Empuraan" reflecting the high anticipation for the film.
