Jerome Flynn in L2: Empuraan: The makers of the highly anticipated Malayalam-language action thriller L2: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal, are generating excitement and keeping fans on the edge of their seats with new announcements. Since the movie’s announcement, Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial has created a buzz with its cast and plot details. Now, the makers have introduced Game of Thrones fame Jerome Flynn as a new character in the film. Actor and singer Jerome Flynn, known for his role as Bronn in the hit Game of Thrones series, will portray a character named Boris Oliver in L2: Empuraan. The English actor also shared his excitement, stating it feels like 'coming home' due to his special connection with India.

The makers of L2: Empuraan dropped the first look poster and video of Jerome Flynn introducing his character in the Mohanlal-starrer movie. Director Prithviraj Sukumaran shared a poster of Flynn's character on his X handle and captioned it, "Character No. 07: Jerome Flynn as Boris Oliver in #L2E #Empuraan."

In the clip, Flynn says, "I play the part of Boris in Empuraan or L2:E. I can't quite remember how I got roped into this job, but I'm so glad I did because it was a completely different experience from what I'm used to having over in the UK or the US. To be part of the Mollywood culture of things and to get a taste of that was really special."

On his connection to India, the actor added, "It's extra special to me because India was a really important, precious part of my journey. I spent several years coming over here in my late 20s and early 30s, mostly on spiritual retreats. The whole experience of being in India has changed my life forever in the best possible way. So, doing this job felt rather like coming home." Although he didn't shoot in India, the Black Mirror actor shared that he still experienced being there. "And the vibe on the set, even though we never went to India, was like being back in the middle of a Delhi roundabout. There was this beautiful orchestrated chaos, and everybody was really sweet and truly loving their job. It made it one of the most enjoyable jobs I've ever done," he said.

Talking about his role in the movie and how his character plays a significant part in Khuresh's journey, he added, "I can't give away too much about my character except to say that he plays an important role in Khuresh's journey. So, I really hope you guys enjoy my character and the film. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed making it."

Jerome Flynn is best known for his roles in several Hollywood movies and TV shows, including Game of Thrones, Soldier Soldier, the BBC mystery series Ripper Street, Banner Creighton, and The Change, among others.

About L2: Empuraan

L2: Empuraan, helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer. Starring Mohanlal, the movie is set to release in theatres on March 27. The movie also features Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Sachin Khedekar, and many others.
