L2 Empuraan: Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Malayalam action thriller is one of the most awaited films of the year. The intriguing trailer of the L2 Empuraan was released on March 19, which gave glimpses of power and politics. Mohanlal can be seen reprising his role as Khureshi Ab’raam aka Stephen Nedumpally. Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen playing the role of Zayed Masood. For those who are unaware, L2 Empuraan is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster film Lucifer.
L2 Empuraan Release Date Confirmed
The anticipated Malayalam movie is set to be released in theatres on March 27. The movie will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. While sharing the trailer of the film, Mohanlal captioned it on Instagram “Presenting the #L2E #EMPURAAN trailer! Remember..it’s YOU who summoned the DEVIL at this hour! About L2 Empuraan
The story will follow the journey of Stephen Nedumpally (played by Mohanlal), who is leading a double life as Khureshi Ab’raam. He is an enigmatic leader of a powerful global crime syndicate. The movie features Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Eriq Ebouaney, Caroline Koziol, Eriq Ebouaney, Saniya Iyappan, Jerome Flynn, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier and Baiju Santhosh in key roles. The action thriller has been directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. L2 Empuraan has been backed by Antony Perumbavoor and Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner of Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas. Deepak Dev is the music director of the film.
