Laila OTT Release: Laila, starring Vishwak Sen, opened in theaters on February 14, Valentine's Day. Ram Narayan, the movie's director, tried a novel plot, however it was poorly welcomed at the box office. The Telugu movie has now made its digital premiere online. Yes, you read that right!

In Laila, Vishwak Sen portrays two characters in the movie - Laila, his alter ego, and Sonu Model, a barber and aspiring model. The Telugu movie also stars Akanksha Sharma as Jenny, Abhimanyu Singh as Rustum. Babloo Prithviraj plays SI Shankar. Vennela Kishore, Ravi Mariya, Nagineedu, Harsha Vardhan, Vineet Kumar, Raghu Babu and Brahmaji all play significant parts in the movie.

Laila OTT Release Update

The Telugu comedy movie Laila is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Viewers were taken by surprise when the movie was abruptly released on the over-the-top site without any previous notice.

Vishwak Sen apologised for his movie's failure to live up to the hype. The actor explained that his goal has always been to offer the audience something new, adding that he fully embraces the helpful criticism for Laila. He added that he greatly values the opinions of the audience. Vishwak pledges that going forward, his movie would never stray into obscenity, regardless of its class or general appeal. He has picked stories that resonated with the public since the start of his career, and he will keep doing so.

All About The 'Boycott Laila' Controversy

The cast member Prudhvi Raj made contentious remarks about political personalities on February 9 at the Laila pre-release event, sparking a 'Boycott Laila' movement on Twitter. The actor mocked some political personalities in the remarks, which had political overtones and made reference to the most recent Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. Despite Prudhvi's apology, a lot of people online, especially YSR Congress Party supporters, demanded that the movie be boycotted.
