Lalit Modi finds love again: In a heartwarming revelation on Valentine's Day, Lalit Modi, the founder and former chairman of the Indian Premier League (IPL), shared a romantic update about his personal life. Taking to his Instagram, Modi posted a video montage featuring his new partner, subtly confirming the end of his highly-publicised relationship with Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. Although Modi refrained from disclosing his partner's name, he shared a series of photos with her, narrating the beautiful story of how their 25-year-long friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship. 

This new chapter in Modi's life comes after his first marriage to Minal Modi, which lasted for nearly three decades until her untimely passing due to cancer in 2018. The couple had tied the knot in 1991 and Modi's heartfelt tribute to his late wife has always been evident.

Sharing the video montage on Instagram, Modi wrote, “Lucky Once – Yes. But I got lucky TWICE. When a 25 year friendship turns to LOVE. It happened twice. Hope it does for you all too. #happyvalentinesday to you all.”

In 2022, Lalit Modi sent shockwaves through social media when he shared a series of romantic photos with the Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. The pictures, which were taken during their idyllic getaway to the Maldives, were accompanied by a heartfelt caption that seemed to confirm their relationship. In the caption, Modi expressed his joy and contentment, referring to Sushmita as his "better half" and hinting at a "new beginning" in his life. 

Modi even updated his Instagram bio, proudly declaring himself as Sushmita's partner in crime and expressing his love for her. However, just a few months later, the rumour mill began churning out speculation about a possible breakup between the couple. Modi mysteriously changed his Instagram bio and profile picture, abruptly removing all references to Sushmita Sen.
