BTS member Jungkook is currently basking in the success of his solo debut album 'Golden' and his two solo songs, which became chartbusters worldwide. He has now found a fan in legendary singer-actress Diana Ross, who called 'Standing Next To You' one of her favourite songs. She revealed that she likes Jungkook's songs and videos and compared his dance moves to Michael Jackson's iconic dance.
Diana wrote on her website, "I really like his songs and his videos. MJ is coming through all of the moves. I just think he’s great! I like the dancers too. All of the dancers are fantastic."

'Standing Next To You' is part of Jungkook's solo album debut 'Golden'. The album features 11 tracks including 'Closer To You', featuring Jamaican-American DJ trio Major Lazer, among others. The other tracks are: 'Yes or No', 'Please Don't Change', 'Somebody', 'Shot Glass of Tears', 'Hate You' and 'Too Sad to Dance'.
He also released his two solo singles named '3D' and 'Seven'. For 'Seven', he teamed up with the American rapper Latto. He has collaborated with Jack Harlow for the song '3D'.
Jungkook earlier achieved another milestone after he became the first and the only Kpop soloist to reach one billion streams on Spotify in 2024. This is due to the huge success of his album 'Golden' which instantly became a chartbuster and was trending on music charts and music streaming platforms worldwide.

Jungkook is currently serving in the military and will return in 2025 after completing his service. He recently took a break from the military to celebrate BTS' eldest member Jin's discharge from the military and celebrate BTS' 11th debut anniversary. He also conducted a concert for fans in South Korea before his enlistment and it was attended by the group's leader RM as well.
