Leo Dethrones Pathaan: Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Leo is all set to hit the theatres on October 19, 2023. The movie also stars Trisha Krishnan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Directed by ace filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, 'Leo' has refined history in the oversees markets. The movie has set an all-time record among Indian films, dethroning 'Pathaan' in advance ticket sales for Day 1.

According to a report in India.com, 'Leo' has generated an impressive $910,225 in revenue in the United States, selling a total of 40,850 tickets. The Telugu version of the film has made a substantial contribution by surpassing the $100,000 mark. Additionally, the estimated advance bookings for premieres in Canada stand at around $300,000. Overall, "Leo" has already accumulated an impressive $1.2 million in North America from pre-sale premiere shows.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is anticipated to be a gripping action drama, reportedly revolving around the theme of gangsters. In this movie, Vijay is said to portray a character with dual faucets, adding an intriguing layer to the narrative.Manoj Paramahamsa shot the film, while Philomin Raj edited it. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio is producing the film, and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
