Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Leo’ is one of the most-awaited films of 2023. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film recently received its censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. Since then the film’s certificate is doing rounds on the internet. ‘Leo’ is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and is set to hit screens on October 19 creating buzz amongst the moviegoers. The certification change came with a series of changes which also included the muting of the slang words and modification of some gory scenes.
It was earlier reported that ‘Leo’ was classified with a U/A certificate by the CBFC indicating that it is suitable for younger audiences but with parental guidance. Now, along with the certification, the CBFC has mandated 13 changes to the film including the muting the explicit language used in the film, along with some intense and violent scenes.

The cuts and alterations demanded by the CBFC finalized the runtime of the film to be around 164 minutes which is 2 hours and 44 minutes. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The music of the film is given by Anirudh Ravichander, while the cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahasma.

The film’s script is given by Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. Sanjay Dutt will be essaying the role of the lead antagonist in the film with Trisha Krishnan as the female lead.
