Lok Sabha Election 2024: Today, April 19, marks the commencement of the first phase of voting for the 2024 Lok Sabha election, beginning at 7 am. In this initial phase, a total of 21 states and 102 constituencies will participate in casting their votes to elect the next group of Members of Parliament nationwide. The 2024 general elections are scheduled to occur in seven phases across the country, concluding on June 1.

Ajith Cast Vote

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar was among the initial celebrities to participate in the first phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 by casting his vote. He arrived early at his designated polling booth in Chennai's Thiruvanmiyur accompanied by his team. A video capturing his arrival at the booth to fulfill his civic duty is currently circulating widely on the internet. Following the casting of his vote, he graciously posed for photographers and videographers, proudly displaying his inked finger.

Donning a white shirt paired with blue jeans, he made his way to the polling booth. To add a finishing touch to his attire, he styled it with sunglasses. Joining the voting fray, actor Sivakarthikeyan, accompanied by his wife, Aarthi, also arrived at their respective polling booth to exercise their voting rights.

Rajinikanth Mobbed

Rajinikanth exercised his right to vote during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in Tamil Nadu. The actor was seen clad in a pristine all-white attire as he emerged to cast his ballot. The Jailer actor was sighted at a polling station located in Stella Maris College, Chennai. In various online videos and images, Rajinikanth can be seen entering the polling booth, where he was promptly surrounded by fans and followers.

Before leaving, Rajinikanth took a moment to address the media. In his message, he emphasised the importance of voting, urging everyone to fulfill their civic duty. He emphasized that there is no merit in abstaining from voting and stressed that it is every citizen's responsibility to participate in the electoral process, encouraging all to exercise their right to vote.

Dhanush and others cast vote

Actor Dhanush exercised his voting rights at St. Francis Xavier School on TTK Road, casting his vote around 8 am. Also, Sivakarthikeyan, Gautham Karthik, directors Sundar C and several others have also participated in the ongoing elections.
