Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee has collaborated with producer Ektaa Kapoor again for 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2'. The movie will focus on love in the world of the internet where social media has a major influence. The teaser of 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2' has generated curiosity among the audience due to its bold yet gripping and shocking plot. Ektaa Kapoor will also introduce a trans woman protagonist for the first time. Bonita Rajpurohit, a transgender woman, will be seen playing the character of Kullu in 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2'.

Sharing the video of Bonita's audition and her journey on the sets of 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2', the official Instagram page of Balaji Motion Pictures wrote, "Sapno ke shehar mein, Kulu found her calling. Meet KULU, our first lead of #LoveSexAurDhokha2, in cinemas on 19th April!"

Bonita Rajpurohit will be the first transgender woman to be seen in the lead role in a Bollywood movie.

The movie has now been submitted to the Censor Board, which has asked the makers to make several cuts. According to the independent industry source, "Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 has been submitted to the Censor board. After watching the film, the Censor Board has given several cuts in the film. This has been a similar phenomenon that continued as "Love Sex Aur Dhokha" which also underwent several cuts before its release due to its bold and explicit content."

Social media star Urfi Javed will make her debut on the big screen with this movie. 'Qala' star Swastika Mukherjee will be seen in the lead role as well. Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the movie will hit the theatres on April 19, 2024.
