Love To Release On OTT: Bharath and Vani Bhojan, who collaborated in 'Miral' last year, have once again come together for the movie 'Love,' which was released on July 28. Directed by RP Bala, the film received a varied range of reviews from both critics and movie enthusiasts. Marketed as a suspenseful thriller, it is a remake of a Malayalam film with an identical title.
The Malayalam rendition, helmed by director Khalid Rahman, released in 2020 and featured Shine Tom Chacko and Rajisha Vijayan in the primary roles. In the Tamil adaptation, which was produced by director Bala, key characters were portrayed by Vivek Prasanna, Radha Ravi, Danial Annie Pope, and others.
The film's plot centres on a couple trapped in an unhappy marriage. They desire to go their separate ways, but circumstances prevent them from pursuing a divorce. One day, amid a heated altercation, the husband strikes his wife, leading to her tragic demise.
In his quest for assistance, he turns to his friends for support, but a sequence of unforeseen events unfolds, leaving him entangled in a predicament. How will he navigate through this chaotic situation?
'Love' is scheduled for its OTT premiere on Aha Tamil on September 8. The platform has issued an official statement regarding the release. Differing from the usual practice of films appearing on Aha Tamil four weeks after their theatrical debut, 'Love' is making its debut after a six-week interval.
The film features music composed by Ronnie Raphael, with cinematography handled by PG Muthiah and editing by Ajay Manoj. Action sequences were choreographed by Stunner Sam, and Dinesh Mohan took charge of the art direction.
