Kdrama fans can’t keep calm as their favourite on-screen couple of 2024, Lovely Runner’s Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon, are set to reunite once again! The beloved duo, who charmed audiences with their remarkable chemistry, will share the stage at the Asian Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) 2025.
One Year of Lovely Runner
Its been a year to Lovely Runner show, which aired on April 8, 2024 and fans continue to celebrate the heartwarming performances of Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon. The drama follows the story of top star Ryu Sun-jae and his admirer Im Sol. After Sun-jae ends his life, Im Sol, who finds comfort in his music, mysteriously time-travels back to their high school days to try and save him. The series takes viewers on an emotional journey filled with first love, fangirl moments and tragedy.

For their portrayals, Byeon Woo Seok won Best Actor of the Year, while Kim Hye Yoon received the Best Artist Award and the Popularity Award in 2024. The pair first reunited post-drama at the Asia Awards 2024, and now fans are eagerly anticipating their upcoming appearance together.
ASEA 2025: Date, Venue And What to Expect
On April 10, the ASEA organizing committee confirmed that Byeon Woo Seok will attend the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025, scheduled for May 28 and 29 at K Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan. Not only will he attend the event, but he will also present the Grand Prize on May 29.
Meanwhile, Kim Hye Yoon will host the awards ceremony that same evening, reuniting the Lovely Runner stars on stage, which is surely going to be a memorable moment for fans. In addition to Woo Seok and Hye Yoon, ASEA 2025 will feature a glittering lineup of stars, including Juyeon from The Boyz, Rei from IVE, Hyungwon from MONSTA X, Younghoon from The Boyz and many more.
