Lucky Baskhar OTT Release Update: Dulquer Salmaan's latest film, Lucky Baskhar, which premiered in theatres on October 31, has received positive reviews from audiences. Directed by Venky Atluri, this Telugu crime drama features Meenakshi Chaudhary alongside Salmaan in the lead role.

Set in the 1980s, Lucky Baskhar follows the story of Baskhar Kumar, a middle-class bank employee who struggles to make ends meet. Frustrated after being passed over for a promotion despite his hard work, Baskhar seeks alternative, albeit questionable, methods to earn quick money. While the film is a fictional narrative, it draws inspiration from real incidents that occurred in the late 1980s and early 1990s, although the makers have clarified that it is not a biopic.

As per reports, Lucky Baskhar will make its OTT debut on Netflix after its theatrical run concludes. The movie is expected to arrive on the OTT platform after over a month of its theatrical release. This film marks Dulquer Salmaan's third leading role in Telugu cinema, following his acclaimed performances in Mahanati and Sita Ramam. Speaking about Lucky Baskhar, Salmaan expressed that the role allowed him to explore a new facet of his acting skills, promising audiences a fresh perspective on his abilities.
