Maa Nanna Superhero On OTT: Sudheer Babu’s family drama Maa Nanna Superhero, which captivated audiences with its heartfelt story, is now set to release on an OTT platform soon. Directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankara, this emotional tale revolves around the journey of a young man named Johnny and explores the complex relationships he shares with two father figures.
The storyline of Maa Nanna Superhero centres on Johnny, a young man whose life takes unexpected turns. After the passing of his father, Johnny is raised in an orphanage, where he is later adopted by a wealthy man who cares for him deeply. However, due to financial troubles, Johnny’s adoptive father becomes distant. Determined to help, Johnny makes it his mission to pay off the debts and regain his adoptive father’s love. Just as he faces these challenges, his biological father reappears, complicating Johnny’s life and presenting him with a difficult choice between his two father figures. The plot has resonated with viewers, garnering praise for its emotional depth.
When and Where To Watch Maa Nanna Superhero?
Following a successful theatrical release on October 11 during the Dussehra festival, the movie is all set to reach a broader audience through its digital debut on ZEE5. Sharing the news, ZEE5 posted a promotional poster with the caption: “An ode to all the superhero dads. Watch the beautiful & emotional journey of a son. Don’t miss the digital premiere of #MaaNannaSuperheroOnZee5. Pro Tip: Watch it with your family.” The movie is also available for streaming on Prime Video with English subtitles.
Alongside Sudheer Babu in the lead role, the film stars Amani, Sayaji Shinde, Sai Chand, Harshith Reddy, Raju Sundaram, and Annie. Produced by Sunil Balusu in collaboration with CAM Entertainment, Maa Nanna Superhero was shot with the vision of cinematographer Sameer Kalyani and scored by composer Jay Krish. The screenplay was penned by Abhilash Kankara, MVS Bharadwaj and Shravan Madala, with Anil Kumar P handling editing, while Maheshwar Reddy Gojala served as the creative producer.
