Mahakumbh Mela 2025: On Monday, Akshay Kumar went to Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. Wearing a clean white kurta, he was seen making his way to the Triveni Sangam. New videos from Prayagraj show Katrina Kaif also visited the sacred site with her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal. 

Akshay Kumar grinned as he took the holy dip in the sacred water after descending the stairs. Following his visit, the Bollywood actor addressed the media and expressed gratitude to the staff and police officers for making the pilgrims' experience seamless.

Speaking to ANI, Akshay Kumar said, "I enjoyed here. There is a good arrangement, I thank CM Yogi Adityanath for [the] wonderful arrangement. I remember in 2019 during the last Kumbh, people used to struggle. This time, many big people are coming—Ambani came, Adani came, many big actors came. There is a great arrangement. I want to thank the policemen (and) workers with folded hands."

Katrina Kaif and her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal, arrived for Maha Kumbh 2025 today. Wearing a simple pink suit, she was greeted with garlands and flowers. They stayed at their Mahakumbh Campsite while visiting the Parmarth Niketan. The images were posted on Parmarth Niketan's official Instagram page. 

Speaking to ANI, Katrina Kaif said, "I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. I am just starting my experience here. I like the energy and the beauty and significance of everything. I am looking forward to spending the whole day here."

A number of Bollywood celebrities, including Sonali Bendre, Tamannaah Bhatia, Rajkummar Rao, Hema Malini, and Anupam Kher, among others, prayed at the Maha Kumbh before Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaf arrived. The religious gathering was also attended by Katrina Kaif's husband prior to the release of his movie, Chhaava.
