Kajol and south actor Samyuktha will be seen in powerful, action-packed roles in the upcoming film Maharagni: Queen Of Queens. This film marks Samyuktha's Bollywood debut and reunites Kajol with Prabhu Deva, 27 years after they collaborated in Minsara Kanavu (known as Sapnay in Hindi).

The teaser of Maharagni has already generated buzz, featuring Kajol in a fierce, never-seen-before action role. She is seen taking down villains and making an entrance reminiscent of a quintessential South Indian hero. Samyuktha will also showcase her action prowess, packing some solid punches in the film.

Samyuktha shared updates with News18 Showsha, stating, "We've been shooting part by part. They’ve wrapped up a schedule that included major portions of Kajol ma’am’s action sequences. Another schedule that included my introduction and some car chase sequences featuring me have also been wrapped. We had a blast! They got an action director from abroad and the way they planned everything was wonderful. I feel so grateful."

Despite 95 per cent of the film still pending, Samyuktha is thrilled to have already filmed scenes with Bollywood legends Kajol and Naseeruddin Shah. Reflecting on her experience, she said, "If your co-stars are cool, good to talk to, and ready to strike up conversations, it’s always nice. We had a photo shoot with all three of us and it was really fun!"

Samyuktha lauded her senior co-actors for making her feel comfortable. "With Naseeruddin sir, I felt like I was interacting with my own grandfather," she shared. "During the shoot, he was to hold a glass of wine and he began explaining to me how 'daaru' actually means medicine. Since he was freely talking to me, I could be myself. It was only when I took a step back and took a moment that I realised where I’m and who I was working with."

On working with Kajol, she added, "Kajol ma’am was helping me on the side with cues when I was shooting for my close-ups. It was really lovely of her. I was tense not because of them but because I wanted to get my Hindi dialect right. They’ve a lot of experience and I didn’t want to give them that impression that I’m not prepared. I don’t know how but I pulled it off eventually.”

Samyuktha believes that Maharagni will be groundbreaking. “After I heard the story of Maharagni, the one major thing that our director (Charan Tej Uppalapati) and I sat down and discussed was how he wanted to present two women in action-packed avatars. The chat was all about why should boys have all the fun? Maharagni is a true-blue commercial film packed with songs and fight sequences. The action is being done by us. It’s very interesting to be a part of a film like this.”

Maharagni is billed as a high-budget pan-Indian action thriller set to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film also stars Jisshu U Sengupta, Chhaya Kadam and Aditya Seal, promising a stellar cast and riveting storyline.
