Sonu Nigam recently attended the prayer meeting of Tishaa Kumar, daughter of actor-producer Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh, who passed away after a prolonged illness. In a touching moment captured on video, the singer was seen crying inconsolably, with Krishan Kumar comforting him.

In the video shared on Instagram, Sonu approached Krishan and sat on the floor beside him, resting his head on Krishan's lap while weeping. Krishan gently consoled Sonu, showing their close bond. The emotional scene also featured singer Shaan, who attended the prayer meeting to pay his respects.

Fans reacted to the heartfelt moment with empathy and understanding. One commented, "He is also a father, so he feels for Krishan Kumar." Another said, "Sonu has a pure soul; he can feel pain." Many acknowledged Sonu's close relationship with the Kumar family and his emotional nature, with one person adding, "May her soul rest in peace."

Tishaa's funeral took place in Mumbai on Monday, attended by numerous celebrities from the film industry. Kartik Aaryan, Anil Kapoor, Anu Malik, Vicky Jain, Udit Narayan, Jackie Shroff and Bobby Deol were among those who paid their last respects.

Several industry figures, including Bhushan Kumar, Farah Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi, also attended the crematorium to pray for Tishaa. Her cousins, Tulsi Kumar and Khushali Kumar, were present at the funeral as well.

Originally scheduled for Sunday, Tishaa's last rites were postponed due to bad weather, which caused the aircraft carrying her remains to be diverted to Ahmedabad. Her last public appearance was at the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor's movie Animal on November 30, 2023.
