Maharaja Box Office Collection (China): The Tamil action-drama Maharaja, directed by Nithilan Swaminathan and produced by Passion Studios and The Route, has emerged as a blockbuster, performing exceptionally well at the China box office. Starring Vijay Sethupathi, Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Abhirami and others, the film has struck a chord with audiences internationally, particularly in China, where it continues its steady run. After four weeks at the Chinese box office, the movie has earned Rs 91.50 crore ($10.73 million) as per trade analyst Ramesh Bala. 

As per Sacnilk, Maharaja opened with a strong premiere collection of Rs 5.40 crore (USD 0.64 million) in China. The film maintained its momentum during the first week, earning Rs 40.75 crore (USD 4.82 million). The second week saw a significant contribution of Rs 32.75 crore (USD 3.85 million), bolstered by strong weekend collections. In its third week, the film added Rs 12.25 crore (USD 1.45 million) to its total. By the end of the fourth week, Maharaja had collected Rs 5.15 crore (USD 0.61 million), taking its total China gross to Rs 91.15 crore (USD 10.76 million).

Globally, Maharaja has amassed an impressive Rs 198.70 crore, including Rs 115.20 crore from overseas markets. India's net collection stands at Rs 72.43 crore, while the gross collection in India is Rs 83.50 crore. Made on a modest budget of Rs 20 crore, Maharaja has already achieved blockbuster status, earning more than four times its production cost. With its China box office collection nearing the Rs 100 crore mark, the film is poised to set new benchmarks for Tamil cinema in the international market.
