Maharaja Box Office Collection Day 13 (China): Vijay Sethupathi starrer Tamil movie has been performing well at the Chinese box office. The film made a grand opening at the ticket windows by earning Rs 4.60 crore which is equivalent to USD 0.54 million. Since then the action thriller maintained a strong grip at the box office despite witnessing a slight decline in numbers after day 9. The film is now aiming to cross the Indian net collection. As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 2.30 crore on Day 13 in China which is equivalent to USD 2.30 crore (USD 0.27 crore). The total China collection of Pushpa 2 is Rs 71.50 crore. The worldwide collection of Maharaja of Rs 178.95 crore. The India net collection of the movie stands at Rs 72.43 crore and the gross collection is Rs 83.50 crore. The overseas collection of the film is Rs 95.45 crore.

The action thriller movie was made on a budget of Rs 20 crore. The film was declared a blockbuster at the Indian box office.
About Maharaja
The movie revolves around a father who is on a mission to seek justice for his daughter after being gang raped. He takes the help of local police to find the perpetrators. In the climax, it is disclosed that the male antagonist is the real father of his daughter. The movie features Vijay Sethupathi, Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Sachana Namidass, Divyabharathi, Abhirami and Singampuli in key roles. The film was directed by Nithilan Saminathan.
