Maharaja Box Office Collection Day 6: Vijay Sethupathi and Anurag Kashyap's film continues to impress at the box office as it enters its first week of release. Directed by Nithilan Saminathan, who also co-wrote the dialogues with Raam Murali, the film is a collaborative effort by Passion Studios, The Route, and Think Studios. Starring Vijay Sethupathi in the titular role, alongside Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhirami, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Manikandan, Singampuli, and Bharathiraja in supporting roles, Maharaja centers around a barber whose report of a robbery hides deeper motives.

Notably, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, Maharaja achieved an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 19.94% throughout the day, with specific showtime occupancies as follows: morning shows at 13.87%, afternoon shows at 19.66%, evening shows at 19.75%, and night shows peaking at 26.46%. These statistics underscore the film's consistent appeal among audiences across different times of the day.

Made on a budget of Rs 20 crore, inclusive of promotional expenses, Maharaja has received substantial acclaim, propelling its momentum at the box office.
