The much-awaited animated film Mufasa: The Lion King is set to release in cinemas tomorrow, December 20. The movie has created buzz ever since it was announced especially in Tollywood because of superstar Mahesh Babu, who has lent his voice to the iconic character Mufasa in the Telugu dub version. Ahead of the release, the superstar shared his experience and how it will always remain close to his heart.
Mufasa: The Lion King is directed by Barry Jenkins, it is both a prequel and sequel to Disney's Lion King franchise, delving into the origins of Mufasa, the iconic lion king.
Mahesh Babu took to Instagram and shared his poster from the film along with a note, that reads, "Voicing Mufasa has been an incredible experience that I’ll always hold close to my heart. I hope you experience the same joy watching Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King as I did."

Recently, makers shared a video featuring Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara. In the video, she can be seen talking about her father working in the film and revealing that she feels proud that he gave his voice to iconic characters like Mufasa.
Besides Mahesh Babu, the Telugu version of Mufasa: The Lion King stars comedian Brahmanandam, who lends his voice to the character of Pumbaa and actor Ali, who voices Timon.
In the Hindi version, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan voices Mufasa and his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan lent their voices to Simba and young Mufasa.
After the massive success of 2019’s The Lion King, Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King has been dubbed in several languages including English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film is backed by Walt Disney Pictures. The American movie has been directed by Barry Jenkins. The film features Blue Ivy Carter, Aaron Pierre, Mads Mikkelsen, Beyoncé, Donald Glover, John Kani, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and Tiffany Boone in pivotal roles.
