Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 2: The numbers for Ajay Devgn starrer are showing improvements. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has already collected over Rs 9 crore in earnings. Chronicling the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, the biopic has Ajay Devgn at its helm. Released in theaters on Thursday (April 11), the film initially had a sluggish start at the box office despite the Eid holiday, garnering approximately Rs 4.50 crore on its opening day. However, the enthralling period sports drama, which transports audiences to the golden era of Indian football, has been gaining momentum, sparking significant excitement among fans and movie enthusiasts.

Ajay Devgn delivers a compelling performance, portraying the inspiring decade-long journey of legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim in this gripping sports narrative. As per Sacnilk, Maidaan is expected to rake in Rs 2.75 crore on Friday, indicating a significant decline in its box office earnings. With an overall occupancy of 8.81 per cent in theaters, the film's two-day collection amounts to Rs 9.85 crore. On Friday, April 12, 2024, the flm recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 8.81%.

The morning screenings kicked off with a turnout of 6.40%, signaling a moderate start to the day. However, as the day advanced into the afternoon, there was a noticeable surge in interest in the film, with occupancy increasing significantly to 8.76%. This momentum persisted through the evening, maintaining strong attendance at 11.07%. Even during the night shows, the film managed to draw in viewers, albeit slightly lower, with a turnout of 9%. Overall, it was a day of mixed but promising attendance for the film.
