The Kerala Film Producers and Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) have reportedly banned the actors Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi for their alleged bad behaviour and usage of drugs. According to several reports, the Kerala Film Producers and FEFKA have decided not to collaborate with both actors for any future projects but have allowed them to finish up the projects which they signed before the ban.

Reportedly, the meeting between FEKKA, the producers' association and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), took place on April 25 in Kochi and this decision was taken.

Moreover, as per reports, during the press meeting, Malayalam film producer M Renjith said that Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi used to come to the film sets under the influence of drugs. He further added that both actors were alleged to have participated in movie interviews in the same condition.

According to ETimes, the producer also said that Shane Nigam reportedly walked out of the sets of the upcoming movie ‘RDX’ which is bankrolled by Sophia Paul and it is the responsibility of the association to secure women's rights. He added that several other producers also have complained about the same actors and therefore, they have decided not to collaborate with Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi for any more films.

For the unversed, Sreenath Bhasi was arrested in September 2022 after he abused a female anchor reportedly under the influence of drugs.

According to reports, Sreenath was promoting his film 'Chattambi' during that time and asked the female anchor of the YouTube channel and her team to stop shooting after he got annoyed with some of the questions.
When the cameras were off, he reportedly abused the film crew and did not apologise for his behaviour.

Later, the channel filed a police complaint and he was arrested. The actor was reportedly released on bail subsequently and later issue a public apology.

Meanwhile, Shane Nigam was banned by the Kerala Film Producers Association in 2019. The actor reportedly changed his hairstyle in the midst of shooting 'Veyil'. He alleged that the producer of the film had threatened to kill him. Shane was banned by the producers association for indiscipline as he had caused financial loss to the producers of 'Veyil' and 'Qurubani'.

Meanwhile, during the shooting of 'RDX', Shane reportedly walked out of the shoot, leaving the other cast and crew stranded.
