Garudan (Amazon Prime Video)

Garudan, crime thriller film directed by Arun Varma in his directorial debut. The screenplay is written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, and Listin Stephen serves as the producer. The film follows Harish Madhav, played by Suresh Gopi, a police officer, and Nishanth Kumar, portrayed by Biju Menon, a college professor, as they engage in a legal battle over a student molestation case. The ensemble supporting cast includes Siddique, Jagadish, Abhirami, Divya Pillai, Thalaivasal Vijay, Major Ravi, Dileesh Pothan, and Nishanth Sagar.

Rorschach (Disney+Hotstar)

Neo-noir psychological thriller film directed by Nissam Basheer and produced by Mammootty under Mammootty Kampany, the film features Mammootty in the lead role, alongside Sharafudheen, Jagadish, Grace Antony, Bindu Panicker, Kottayam Nazeer, Sanju Sivram, and Asif Ali. Midhun Mukundan composed the music for the film, while Nimish Ravi handled cinematography. The storyline follows an NRI businessman who embarks on a mission of vengeance against someone who has shattered his life.

Malik (Amazon Prime Video)

The crime-political thriller film is directed, written, and edited by Mahesh Narayanan. Produced by Anto Joseph through Anto Joseph Film Company in collaboration with Carnival Movie Network, the film features Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, alongside Nimisha Sajayan, Vinay Forrt, Jalaja, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, and Indrans in supporting roles. The music for the film was composed by Sushin Shyam.



Iratta (Netflix)

Malayalam-language crime thriller film written and directed by Rohit M. G. Krishnan, stars Joju George in dual roles, along with Anjali, Arya Salim, and Srikant Murali. The storyline revolves around the demise of a policeman while on duty at the Vagamon police station, and the subsequent investigation conducted by his estranged twin brother.

Kannur Squad (Disney+Hotstar)

Directed by Roby Varghese Raj, the film stars Mammootty, along with Rony David Raj, Azees Nedumangad, Shabareesh Varma, Kishore, and Vijayaraghavan. Produced by Mammootty under the banner of Mammootty Kampany, the movie is based on the true story of the Kannur Squad, a crime investigation unit formed by former Kannur SP S. Sreejith IPS. The music is composed by Sushin Shyam, with Muhammed Rahil handling cinematography and Praveen Prabhakar overseeing editing.

Joseph (Amazon Prime Video)

Directed by M. Padmakumar and written by Shahi Kabir, the film features Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, Irshad, Athmiya Rajan, Johny Antony, Sudhi Koppa, Malavika Menon, and Madhuri Braganza in prominent roles. The narrative, an investigation thriller, unfolds through the lives of four retired policemen. Certain scenes in the movie, such as the double crime scene in the beginning, are inspired by real-life experiences recounted by the writer, Shahi Kabir.

7th Day (Disney+Hotstar)

Malayalam-language neo-noir action thriller film, marking the directorial debut of Syamdhar and written by Akhil Paul. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as David Abraham, a 42-year-old IPS officer, who embarks on an investigation into an unusual case. Alongside Prithviraj, the film features Tovino Thomas, Anu Mohan, Vinay Forrt, Yog Japee, Janani Iyer, and Praveen Prem in significant roles.

Villain (JioCinema)

Neo-noir action thriller film, written and directed by B. Unnikrishnan and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Mohanlal, Vishal, Srikanth, Raashi Khanna, Hansika Motwani, Manju Warrier, Siddique, Chemban Vinod Jose, Renji Panicker, Saikumar, and Aju Varghese. The narrative centers around ADGP Mathew Manjooran, a senior IPS officer who resigns from his post but is called back to tackle one final case involving a series of interconnected murders.
