MAMA 2024 Awards Day 1: The 2024 MAMA Awards continued its dazzling celebration of Kpop at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on November 22. The first day of the Japan chapter was filled with exciting moments, unforgettable performances, and historical milestones, with BLACKPINK’s Rosé leading the way as the first member of the group to attend the prestigious event.

One of the most talked-about highlights of the evening was the appearance of BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars. The duo, who have captured the world’s attention with their chart-topping collaboration APT, were awarded the coveted Global Sensation trophy. Their performance and chemistry on stage further solidified the song’s status as one of Kpop’s biggest hits of the year.

Fans were overjoyed to see Rosé’s solo debut at the MAMA Awards, with her chic black dress and oversized blazer becoming the talk of the town. When the cameras first captured them in the audience, the crowd erupted into loud cheers, leaving Rosé visibly surprised but delighted by the warm reception. Notable stars like Lee Hye Sung, Hanhae, Jo Yu Ri, PLAVE, Byeon Woo Seok, Lee Youngji and Kim Min Ha made their grand entrances. The red carpet was a true spectacle, with each celebrity showing off their individual style. Fans were treated to glimpses of some of their favourite stars, including members from popular groups such as IVE, TREASURE, ENHYPEN, TXT and aespa.
