MAMA 2024 Awards Day 2: The 2024 MAMA Awards continued its star-studded extravaganza with Day 2 celebrating some of the biggest achievements in music and entertainment this year. Held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, the event showcased a thrilling array of performances and recognized artists for their exceptional contributions.

Day 2 of the awards honoured both established icons and rising stars. SEVENTEEN proved to be the biggest winners of the night, taking home Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN. Their impressive stage presence and dynamic performances have solidified their global reputation.

aespa had a remarkable night as well, clinching Song of the Year for their hit track Supernova. The group’s mesmerizing choreography and futuristic themes have been widely praised by fans and critics alike.

Jimin, a beloved member of BTS, was crowned Fans' Choice of the Year, showcasing his unmatched global popularity and deep connection with ARMYs.

Standout Performances and Notable Awards

The night also celebrated outstanding individual and group achievements across genres:

Best Male Artist went to Jungkook, who continues to dazzle fans with his chart-topping tracks and captivating performances.

IU, known for her vocal brilliance and heartfelt artistry, took home Best Female Artist.

The collaboration of ZICO and JENNIE for the track Spot! bagged them two awards: Best Collaboration and Best Rap & Hip Hop Performance.

BIBI received Best Vocal Performance - Solo for her soulful track Bam Yang Gang, a song that has resonated with listeners worldwide.

aespa’s Armageddon earned Best Music Video and their spectacular choreography for Supernova won them Best Choreography and Best Dance Performance - Female Group.

On the male side, Jungkook’s smooth moves in Standing Next To You earned him the Best Dance Performance - Male Solo, further solidifying his position as a powerhouse performer.

Byeon Woo Seok’s Memorable Performance

Actor Byeon Woo Seok added a unique musical touch to the evening. Known for his role in the Kdrama Lovely Runner, he performed Sudden Shower, a heartfelt song from the drama's soundtrack. His emotive singing brought a wave of nostalgia and warmth to the audience.
