Mangalavaaram Twitter Review: Ajay Bhupathi's directorial 'Mangalavaaram' created a lot of excitement and curiosity among the audience ever since its announcement due to its intriguing and different plot. Set in the 1980s-90s, the movie revolves around Shailu, a young woman from a small village, who gets caught up in a series of mysterious murders. Starring Payal Rajput in the lead role, 'Mangalavaaram' has finally been released in theatres and has been receiving a good response from the audience.

In an interview with 123telugu.com, Payal talked about her character Shailu and how it is different from other roles. She said, "Not really, Shailu is far from being a villain. You will feel sympathy for Shailu after watching the film, as multiple emotions are involved. I played intense roles before, but never this kind of a character. After hearing the story, I told my mother I was collaborating with Ajay Bhupathi again."

Talking about doing a female oriented film, she added, "I was very comfortable. Swathi Reddy was very involved. She, along with Suresh Varma Garu, took great care in every minute aspect. Kantara fame Ajaneesh Loknath provided excellent music. A set of highly talented technicians worked on the film. Mangalavaaram has a story and characters never seen in Indian cinema."

Apart from Payal, the movie also stars Nandita Shwetha, Divya Pillai, Ajmal Ameer and Ravindra Vijay in pivotal roles. The movie has been released in five languages-- Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The music of 'Mangalavaaram' is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath and is produced by Swathi Reddy Gunupati, Suresh Varma M and Ajay Bhupathi, under Mudhra Media Works and A Creative Works.
