Manisha Koirala’s camaraderie with Kamal Haasan onscreen and offscreen since the 90s has been witnessed by their fans. The duo appeared in Shanmugam Shankar’s 1996 film Indian and was immensely loved by the audience. Ahead of the release of its sequel, the actress wrote an appreciation post for the veteran actor. She also shared that Haasan always amazed her whenever they met. Manisha further elaborated the Indian 2 star’s qualities in her post. 

In an Instagram post, Manisha wrote “One of the brilliant minds that I had an opportunity to work with..books and films n now fashion is his world !! He recommended amazing books which stretches one’s mind & soul..his unique & deep observations on life amazed me decades ago..his cinematic understanding is unparalleled.. I can have long hours of conversation with him or rather listen to him talk for hours..thank you @ikamalhaasan ji for all that you do and all that you are!! You never cease to amaze me each time I meet you!!”

On the work front, Kamal Haasan’s upcoming movie Indian 2 also features Kamal Haasan, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Nedumudi Venu, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Brahmanandam, Mark Bennington and Mark Bennington in pivotal roles. The movie is all set to release in theatres on 12th July this year.
