In 2006, a group of friends from an arts club in Kochi embark on a trip to Kodaikanal during the Onam vacation. While exploring the Guna Caves, they encounter a tragic incident when one of their friends, Subhash, played by Sreenath Bhasi, falls into a deep hole. Despite initial disbelief and panic, they rally for help from locals and authorities. Facing accusations and resistance, they persist in their rescue efforts, eventually retrieving Subhash with the bravery of one friend, Siju David (Master Gavin). Subhash receives medical treatment, and the group decides to keep the incident secret, attributing his injuries to a waterfall fall. Subhash undergoes trauma therapy and gradually recuperates, while Siju's heroism is later recognised and honoured with a medal, commemorating the real-life Manjummel Boys.
