Despite the conclusion of Bigg Boss 17, the show's controversies continue to be a topic of discussion. In a recent interview, Mannara Chopra responded to Munawar Faruqui's claim of a kiss, labeling it as a 'weird statement.' The finale of Salman Khan hosted show took place on Sunday night, with Munawar emerging as the winner by defeating Abhishek Kumar. Mannara Chopra secured the third position in the competition.
In a recent interview with E-Times, Mannara referred to Munawar Faruqui as 'family' and said, "For me, Munawar is like family. I have considered him a true friend, and even he has helped me a lot on the show. Maine show mein jitni bhi dostiyaan ki hain, woh sab dil se hi ki hain (whichever friendships I formed in the show were from the heart)," she said.
However, when questioned about Munawar's claim regarding a kiss, Mannara expressed surprise and commented "Oh my god! It’s a weird statement. There’s no footage like this. I don’t know in what context he said that, but if he has, he needs to apologise to me publically."
Munawar's Kiss statement
Just before the grand finale of Bigg Boss 17, Munawar made a surprising statement while talking to Ankita Lokhande, asserting that Mannara kissed him on Diwali night. Using hand gestures to mimic the action, he suggested that Mannara had kissed him on the cheeks. When Ankita expressed that she didn't witness it, Munawar informed her that he hadn't shared this information with anyone else. "I felt uncomfortable because I have always maintained a line," Adding, "I don't want to say this to her because it will be awkward for her."
Munawar also revealed that when they were sitting on the sofa at night, Mannara brought up the dance multiple times and inquired if he enjoyed it. Munawar affirmed that he did find it enjoyable. He further claimed that when Mannara attempted to discuss the incident later, she realized he wasn't willing to talk about it.
