Following viral claims suggesting his participation in the election from West Champaran district in Bihar, the actor promptly dismissed these rumors. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the actor refuted the claim, asking, "Who told you this, or did you have a dream last night? Tell me."
The actor had previously addressed speculations about entering politics, firmly asserting that he has no intentions of pursuing a political career. Clarifying that there's no possibility of him joining politics, Manoj Bajpayee said, "I am 200% sure I won't do that. The question of joining politics does not arise at all." These remarks came after his meetings with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar's deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav in 2020, which had sparked speculations regarding his potential entry into politics.
