Manoj Kumar Last Rites: The entire Indian film industry is in shock after the demise of legendary actor Manoj Kumar. The actor took his last breath at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on April 4, 2025 in Mumbai. He was 87 years old when he passed away due to heart-related complications. The last rites of Manoj Kumar, also known as Bharat Kumar, have taken place near Pawan Hans in front of Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle. The veteran actor received a state honour and was accorded with 21-gun salute. 

Several celebrities from the film industry attended the funeral. Amitabh Bachchan, along with his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan, were present at the cremation ground. 

Veteran actor and producer Salim Khan and his son Arbaaz Khan also went to the funeral. At the funeral, Salim Khan and Amitabh Bachchan greeted each other. 

After reaching the cremation ground, Rajpal Yadav talked about Manoj Kumar and told ANI, "He is the Vishwa Kala Ratna of India, he is Bharat Ratna. I salute him and he is a gem of our Bollywood and will always remain a gem."

While speaking with the agency ANI, Prem Chopra recalled how he and Manoj Kumar started their career. He said, "I was with him from the beginning. We were in 'Shaheed' together, which is one of the hit movies... We worked in many films together... He never used to compromise while making films." 

Popular singer and composer Anu Malik told ANI, "Whatever films he has made, he has made them for the benefit of society and the country and such people do not come again and again in this world. We should take inspiration from Manoj Kumar sahab's films, his songs, his direction... I am very emotional, like everyone else, the whole country is very emotional that an artist has gone who can never come back to this world."
