Marco OTT Release Delayed? The highly anticipated film Marco has been making waves in the Malayalam film industry, touted as the most violent film in Mollywood history. Starring Unni Mukundan in the lead role, Marco initially hit the theaters in Malayalam, generating a significant buzz among cinema enthusiasts. However, its reach extended far beyond the Malayalam-speaking audience, as the movie was later dubbed into Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, thereby catering to a broader demographic.
The latest development in the journey of Marco is that the film is all set to make its debut in the Kannada film industry, popularly known as Sandalwood, on January 31, 2025. As the release date approaches, all eyes are on how the film will perform at the box office. The Kannada audience has a unique taste in films and it remains to be seen how they will respond to Marco's intense and violent narrative.
Marco OTT Release Delayed?
Meanwhile, there is also speculation about the film's digital release. Initially, it was expected that Marco would make its OTT debut soon after its theatrical run. However, with the Kannada release just around the corner, reports suggest that the digital release might be delayed.
According to insiders, the film is likely to launch on OTT platforms in February, although an official confirmation regarding the digital release date is still awaited. Fans of the film will have to wait a little longer to know when they can watch Marco from the comfort of their own homes.
About the movie: Marco, a 2024 Malayalam action thriller, is directed by Haneef Adeni and produced by Shareef Muhammed under Cubes Entertainments. The film features Unni Mukundan in the lead, supported by a talented ensemble cast including Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Thareja. The movie's soundtrack is composed by Ravi Basrur, with Chandru Selvaraj handling cinematography and Shameer Muhammed overseeing editing.
