Who Is Rashmi Murali And Where Is She Now?
Rashmi Murali responded to the excitement surrounding her role in Sachein by posting a heartfelt video on her Instagram account. She gave a brief introduction and thanked the fans for their love and support of her little part after all these years.
Rashmi Murali disclosed that when she was allowed to play the lead in Sachein, she was only 20 years old and enrolled in college. She is now married, works as an entrepreneur, and resides overseas with her spouse and kids.

All About Sachein Movie And Its Re-Release
Sachein had a tremendous run in theatres when it first debuted in 2005 with a very positive reception from viewers. The filmmakers decided to re-release the movie in 2025, marking its 20th anniversary. Thalapathy Vijay's fans eagerly flocked to see the first day, first show yet again. Directed by John Mahendran, the Tamil movie stars Thalapathy Vijay, Genelia Deshmukh, Raghuvaran, Bipasha Basu, Santhanam, Rashmi Murali and Vadivelu, among others. Devi Sri Prasad is the composer of the movie's soundtrack.
Sachein's re-release has already grossed over Rs 7 crore in just three days, despite being produced on a smaller scale than Ghilli. The Tamil movie's long-term goal is to reach Rs 13 to 15 crore.
