Metro In Dino OTT Release Update: Konkona Sensharma and Pankaj Tripathi starrer musical romantic drama released in theatres on July 4, 2025. The film is the sequel to the 2007 movie Life in a... Metro. It was one of the most anticipated movies since its announcement due to the stellar cast of actors and the legacy of its prequel. Viewers were looking forward to watch the movie, which is why the film’s songs and concept were loved by the audience. Metro In Dino had a moderate box office collection of Rs 52.1 crore in India and Rs 68.25 crore worldwide. Now, almost two months after its release, the movie is slated for its OTT debut.

Metro In Dino is reportedly slated to release on Netflix on August 29 (Friday). However, there is no official confirmation has been made by the makers.

About Metro In Dino

The plot focuses on four love stories that reside in different parts of the country-Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Bengaluru. Every story explores different aspects of modern relationships, which include intimacy, conflict and self-discovery. At the end, all the characters cross their path. The movie features Anupam Kher as Parimal, Neena Gupta as Shibani, Konkona Sensharma as Kajol, Pankaj Tripathi as Monty Sisodiya, Aditya Roy Kapur as Parth, Sara Ali Khan as Chumki, Ali Fazal as Akash, Fatima Sana Shaikh as Shruti Shukla and Saswata Chatterjee as Sanjeev. The film has been directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Taani Basu and Anurag Basu.

Metro In Dino has been made on a budget of Rs 47 crore. The film has a runtime of 159 crore. Abhishek Basu and Anurag Basu have done the cinematography of the movie. Pritam Chakraborty is behind the music of Metro In Dino.
