Seeing the demand, makers have decided to preponed the movie in India. The last mission is likely to be packed with ‘epic scale, emotional stakes, and edge-of-your-seat thrills’. Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning released in theatres on May 17 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The makers of the film Paramount Pictures India wrote on Instagram, “#MissionImpossible - The Final Reckoning now releases early in India. New date - 17th May. Releasing in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu!”

The story is about an IMF agent named Ethan Hunt, who went on a mission to stop a man (Gabriel) before the latter could obtain an AI program. The program had the capacity to weaken the world’s stability. The movie stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Mariela Garriga, Esai Morales, Tramell Tillman, Simon Pegg and Hannah Waddingham in significant roles. It has been directed by Christopher McQuarrie and produced by Tom Cruise, Christopher McQuarrie, J.J. Abrams, David Ellison, Don Granger, Dana Goldberg, Jake Myers. The film has a runtime of 2 hours.
