Mission Raniganj OTT Release Date: Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Mission Raniganj' was released more than a month ago and received a mixed response from the audience. The movie was expected to perform well at the box office but was not able to attract the audience back to the theatres. 'Mission Raniganj' is based on a real-life incident at Raniganj Coalfield and focuses on the story of the late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill, who played a significant role in rescuing all the surviving miners trapped inside a flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989. The movie has reportedly locked its OTT release date.

Mission Raniganj OTT Release Date:

According to the website Binged, 'Mission Raniganj' will release on Netflix on December 1, 2023. The official OTT release date of the film has not been announced yet.

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, the movie also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role.

The movie's tagline was 'The Great Indian Rescue' and was changed to 'The Great Bharat Resuce'. In a media interaction, Akshay talked about the new tagline and said, "Is Bharat a wrong name? India is also not wrong, it is perfectly right. We did it (changed the tagline) because it is a great name, it is in our constitution, so we changed it."

Apart from Akshay and Parineeti, 'Mission Raniganj' also stars Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Ananth Mahadevan, Jameel Khan, Sudhir Pandey, Bachan Pachera, Mukesh Bhatt and Omkar Das Manikpuri. The movie is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Ajay Kapoor.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in 'OMG 2' along with Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. He will next star in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', 'Housefull 5', 'Hera Pheri 3', 'Welcome To The Jungle' and 'Jolly LLB 3'.
