Several Bollywood celebrities like Mrunal Thakur, Palak Tiwari and Janhvi Kapoor have requested paparazzi not to click pictures in inappropriate angles. Recently in an interview, Mona Singh voiced her opinion regarding the same. She said that the shutterbugs only zoom in on women’s bodies inappropriately without their consent. The actress also asked if they would do the same with men. Mona also urged female celebrities to raise their voice against it as she feels it is not cool to zoom in on someone’s body parts.

In a conversation with News18, Mona said “They keep focusing on women’s bodies inappropriately. Will they do this to a man by zooming into their crotch when they’re walking? No, they won’t. But they do that to every woman.”

“Whether you attend an event or go to an award function, these are the kinds of videos you keep seeing of yourself. I think every woman actor should stand up and raise their voice against it. It’s really not cool what they do. It’s almost like they wait for some faux pas to happen,” she added.

On the professional side, Mona Singh will be next seen in the Horror comedy film Munjya. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie also features Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma and Sathyaraj in key roles. The movie is slated to release in theatres on 7th June. Apart from Munjya, Mona is reportedly a crucial part of Aryan Khan’s directorial debut web series Stardom. The web show has cameo appearances of stars Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ananya Panday and Karan Johar.
