Must-Watch OTT Series, Movies To Watch: This week offers a plethora of exciting releases to indulge in -- including comedy, drama, thrillers, fantasy, and more. From the highly anticipated Merry Christmas starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, to Huma Qureshi's Maharani Season 3, Emraan Hashmi's Showtime and Damsel on Netflix, catering to audiences of all linguistic preferences. Additionally, for aficionados of non-fiction content, there have been some compelling releases worth exploring. Take a look:

Showtime (Disney+ Hotstar)

Written by Sumit Roy and helmed by directors Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, this star-studded film features Emraan Hashmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Mouni Roy, Shriya Saran, and Mahima Makwana. Showtime portrays the backstage power struggles and conflicts that unfold within the Bollywood industry, shedding light on topics such as nepotism.

Shaitaan (Theater)

Shaitaan unfolds as a riveting supernatural thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat, experiencing chilling moments that send shivers down your spine. Adapted from the acclaimed Gujarati film Vash, Shaitaan is directed by Vikas Bahl and explores the disruption of a tranquil family life when an uninvited guest overstays his welcome. Manipulating the young girl within the family, he urges her to embrace her inner darkness and turn against her family.

Merry Christmas (Netflix)

Sriram Raghavan's mystery thriller, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, hit theaters on January 12. Inspired by the French novel 'Le Monte-charge' by Frédéric Dard, Merry Christmas narrates the tale of two strangers who encounter each other on Christmas Eve, only to find their romance veering into a nightmare.

Maharani 3 (SonyLIV)

The third installment of the political drama, created by Subhash Kapoor, features Huma Qureshi, Sohum Shah, Amit Sial, Kani Kusruti, and Inaamulhaq in leading roles. Inspired by various events from 1990s Bihar, Maharani Season 3 delves into the story of Rani Bharti. She faces accusations of mismanagement and the imposition of 'jungle raj' in the state. As she navigates through the turbulent political landscape and confronts relentless opposition, the question remains whether she will emerge victorious in this power struggle.

Damsel (Netflix)

Directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and starring Millie Bobby Brown, this film follows the journey of a young woman on the brink of realizing her fairytale dream. Initially agreeing to marry a charming prince, she soon discovers that her fairytale may turn into a nightmare. Now, she must rely solely on her intelligence to navigate and survive the traps that have been cunningly set for her.

Dune 2 (Theater)

It stars Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem. Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Lea Seydoux, and Souheila Yacoub join them for the second installment. This movie serves as the second part of a two-part adaptation of Frank Herbert's 1965 novel Dune. It follows the journey of Paul Atreides as he joins forces with the Fremen people of the desert planet Arrakis to lead a rebellion against House Harkonnen.
