Special Ops 2 Review: Kay Kay Menon is back with the second season of his hit action espionage thriller series Special Ops on JioHotstar. With a new storyline this time, Himmat Singh (Kay Kay Menon) of the Research and Analysis Wing came across a new case. It focuses on the increasing threat of cyber terrorism, where Singh and his team face a digital enemy that uses AI. This can cause a biggest data breach in the country, who are the largest consumers of UPI. Apart from Menon, Special Ops 2 also features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Prakash Raj, Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Muzammil Ibrahim, Saiyami Kher, Gautami Kapoor and Meher Vij in pivotal roles.

Special Ops 2 has been gaining praise for its storyline and performances. Some netizens on X mentioned that it is one of the rarest Indian series which maintains the benchmark it has set in other seasons. Others called it a ‘masterpiece’. About Special Ops 2

It is the sequel to the 2020 JioHotstar show of the same name. Special Ops 1.5 was released in 2021. After 4 years, the show is back with the second season. The second season has been directed by Shivam Nair, with Neeraj Pandey credited as the creator and co-director.
