Taskaree X Review: Emraan Hashmi’s thriller web series Taskaree is currently streaming on Netflix. Released on January 14, the web series also stars Sharad Kelkar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Anurag Sinha and Zoya Afroz in key roles. Created by filmmaker Neeraj Pandey and helmed by Raghav Jairath, the web series is produced by Friday Storytellers. Soon upon its release, Taskaree started trending on X and fans have been praising the web series for its strong performances and storyline.

Users took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their views on Tashkaree. Taskaree Web Series Plot

Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web unfolds largely at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, offering a rare, detailed look into the functioning of the Indian Customs Service. The series follows Superintendent Arjun Meena (Emraan Hashmi), a calm, sharp, and highly disciplined officer leading a specialised unit. His team sets out to dismantle an expansive international smuggling network run by Bada Chaudhary (Sharad Kelkar). Steering clear of flashy action, the narrative focuses on procedural realism tracking coded routes, uncovering forged cargo documents, analysing intelligence inputs, and executing calculated surveillance operations to intercept global narcotics consignments.
