Keeping the movie’s chokehold in mind, the makers of the movie announced the movie’s sequel last year, The Devil Wears Prada 2 and it instantly created a buzz among moviegoers. On Monday, after months of anticipation, the makers of The Devil Wears Prada 2 dropped the trailer of the movie, confirming the return of its iconic characters. The trailer showcases the return of Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief of the Runway Magazine, in her bold and sartorial role. The sequel also brings back Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton, once Miranda’s assistant, now a powerful executive.

The movie also reintroduces Anne Hathaway in a reprised role as Andrea Sachs, famously known as Andy. To everyone’s surprise, Andy has carved a distinct position for herself as a senior journalist and has now rejoined Runway as the new features writer.
